How to Use Page Sizer

1. Install the Add-on

First, install the Page Sizer add-on from the Google Docs Add-on Store.

2. Access the Add-on

In your Google Docs document, click on the “Extensions” menu in the toolbar. If you only see the “Help” option and not the Page Sizer, refresh the page to update the menu.

3. Open the Page Sizer

In your Google Docs document, click on the “Extensions” menu in the toolbar. If you only see the “Help” option and not the Page Sizer, refresh the page to update the menu.

4. Customize Your Page Size

In the Page Sizer popup, enter the desired dimensions for your document. You can adjust the height and width to fit your specific needs.

5. Customize Margins and Colors with the Add-on

Set Margins: Adjust top, bottom, left, and right margins using inches, cm, or points for perfect spacing.
Add Background Color: Pick a color or enter a hex code to transform your document’s appearance.
Click Update: Apply changes instantly to see your professionally formatted document.

6. Precisely Fit Your Last Object

Want your page to be exactly as long as your last object?

Temporarily make your document extra long by setting a high page height.
Note the ruler position of the last element in your document.
Enter this ruler number into the Page Sizer’s height calculator.
The add-on will calculate and set the precise page height needed to perfectly fit your content.

How to Use:

Open a Google Docs™ document.
Click on the ‘Page-Sizer’ menu in the toolbar.
Select ‘Change Page Size’.
Enter your desired page height and width, then click ‘Update’.
Adjust margins by setting values for each side and click ‘Update Margins’.
Choose a background color and click ‘Update Color’.
To calculate height: enter the last element position, click ‘Calculate’, then ‘Update Height’ to apply.
